Human trafficking more common than we think - Fox 28: South Bend, Elkhart IN News, Weather, Sports:

she's appeared on The Today Show, MSNBC and several other television shows and Friday, Theresa Flores spoke to a group at Saint Mary's College.
As a teen from an upper-middle class family in Michigan, Flores was forced into the sex trade and talked about her experience.
She says 100-thousand American kids are being trafficked right now.
They are being threatened, manipulated or blackmailed into having sex.
She hoped to get this message out:  It's happening more than you think.
Flores says, "That this can happen in any zip code. it's happening everywhere in our country. But we've mislabeled it teen prostitution."
She says there are a lot of red flags parents can look for by going to a web site called SharedHope.org.
