Tell the truth and protect women's health - Planned Parenthood Action Fund

Tell the truth and protect women's health - Planned Parenthood Action Fund:

'via Blog this'TELL THE TRUTH AND PROTECT WOMEN'S HEALTH

The Obama administration has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring women will have access to birth control coverage, with no costly co-pays, no additional hurdles; no matter where they work. Anti-birth control politicians are attacking this protection by misleading women.

We've had enough. Women — and men who care about women's health — aren't going to sit quietly by while these people try to force their ideology on every woman in America. Birth control is the most common medication taken by young and middle-aged women, and nearly all sexually active women — including 98 percent of Catholics — will rely on birth control at some point.

This is basic health care. It shouldn't be attacked. It shouldn't be politicized. And it shouldn't be lied about. Fill out the form to the right to speak out.
To Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, John Boehner, and every other politician who wants to deny women access to birth control:

I'm calling on you to tell the truth about birth control.

The new birth control coverage requirement doesn't apply to churches, mosques, or other religious employers. In fact, approximately 335,000 such organizations are exempt from the new requirement. When you say differently, you're not telling the truth about women's health, and you should stop.

The rule guarantees coverage for contraception, not abortion services. When you say differently, you're not telling the truth about women's health, and you should stop.
