unsolicited visits to shop from NFIB

unsolicited visits to shop from NFIB:

'via Blog this'
  1. "salespeople must work on commission or aren't very well trained. I had one stop by a year ago and he wanted to charge me $1400.00 for an annual membership which is a lot more than it should have been given the number of employees I have.

Before you join, look closely at their website to determine how much of their agenda you agree with. They are primarily an advocacy organization and it would be silly to send them a check for $600-$2400 a year unless you agree with most of what they are advocating for.
  2. Sorry.......but in my book anybody that "stops by" with their frigin hand out is a SCAM....
Just like all the local cop agencies that call every freakin year looking for money.....take some of it out of my TAXES.
    Oh......forgot......they already DO.

When's the last time anybody in Washington ever did "anything" for your machine shop business.........and just how much worse would things be tax and regulation wise if they weren't "doing" whatever they are supposedly "doing"......?
Every year more regs and laws are "secretly" passed to make things harder and more costly for small businesses....in NYS as well as on the Fed level.

No quarters for these guys from MY pocket....."
