Catch flies with vinegar or transform ordinary vinegar into gourmet vinegars

Catch flies with vinegar or transform ordinary vinegar into gourmet vinegars:

'via Blog this'

"1. House flies--considered "filth flies" as they feed on excrement, garbage, carcasses, etc. If you accidentally eat the larvae (maggots) they can survive in your intestine.
2. Little house flies--these little flies circle in the middle of a room or porch and don't appear to land. They have been known to enter the urinary tract of sleeping people and cause urinary myiasis.
3. Blow flies--larger than houseflies and shiny. If you have them in your house, it is an indication of a dead animal in walls or ceiling. They often star on crime shows as they are used by forensic entomologist to establish time of death in humans because they feed on decaying flesh.
4. Flesh flies--the kind you see in photos of ill people in poor countries. They lay eggs in the noses or eyes of humans causing another serious disease.

What to do?
Making a fly trap
Cut the tops off several plastic water bottles and invert the tops into the lower portions, forming a funnel. Put about 2-inches of apple cider vinegar in each bottle with 1/4 teaspoon sugar. Almost all flies, no matter their normal food preference, will enter the trap. Death by drowning or by acid--sugar though is the lure.
