Yes---Carter, Bush Sr, Clinton, and Bush Jr all get $191,300 a year in pension.

All living ex-Presidents receive a pension, an office and staff, and medical care/health insurance (not a part of ObamaCare) for life. Since 1959, the amount of pension is equal to the salary of a current Cabinet Secretary which at present is $191,300. Everytime the Secys get a raise, the ex-Presidents automatically get a raise. He will receive this amount whether he serves 1 term or 2. There is no provision in the law for revoking the pension if the ex-President is an ex-President because he was impeached or resigned to avoid impeachment. Also no provision to revoke if the ex-President is sent to jail post-Presidency.

If the ex-President qualifies, then he also receives a pension as a former Congressman and/or Senator in addition to his ex-President's pension. That pension varies anywhere from $41,000 to as high as about $85,000 depending on how long the ex-President was in the House and/or Senate.

Bush Sr and Clinton and wives get Secret Service Protection for life. Hillary Clinton, as Sec of State, gets Security from a different agency. Ex-President Jimmy Carter has declined his Secret Service protection. Richard Nixon had lifetime Secret Service Protection as an ex-President from his 1974 resignation until 1985 when he refused his Secret Service Detail. The law was changed in the 1990s with the result being Bush Jr, Obama, and future Presidents will only get Secret Service for 10 years after leaving office.

If the widow of an ex-Presidents doesn't receive any retirement income or chooses to decline retirement income from other sources then she will receive $20,000 a year.

All of this is courtesy of the American taxpayers.

Also, every Presidential Library from Herbert Hoover to Bush Jr are built thru private funds but are owned and operated by the National Archives, a federal agency.
