'via Blog this'T 6/1/12: The Cheektowaga Bee on May 31, 2012 reports "Dog attack leads to citation." According to this article, Scott Thurn, the dog control officer for the Cheektowaga Police Department, is quoting that the other man "doesnt want to pursue dangerous dog proceedings." THIS IS AN UNTRUE STATEMENT! D. Janssen's exact words were: "I want the dog muzzled or kept in the back yard. God forbid a little baby or kid gets bit" according to the transcript from WIVB.com.
Again as concerned citizens we are still seeing this dangerous dog in the front yard WITHOUT A MUZZLE.

For at least the third time this pit bull has brutally mauled yet another innocent animal, and the Cheektowaga police and dog warden do nothing. While a police report was called in nothing has been done to stop this cruelty. Does it take a child to be harmed before something is finally done? -A group of very concerned citizens.
