(Nah dude, C'mon. alkies and perves, we like. Crackheads are tooooo obvious, and they don't give enough of a shit about the church.)

  • Lauren Pierce and I definitely went to high school together haha. And this guy would be funnier if he spoke more quickly and didn't try so hard to be offensive.
  • Redneck republicans are not known for their intellectual depth.
After the president of the University of Texas College Republicans was forced to resign after tweeting about how tempting it might be to shoot President Barack Obama, her successor drew fire on Monday for a tweet of her own.
Cassandra Wright, the new President of the UT College Republicans reportedly tweeted Sunday, “My president is black, he snorts a lot of crack. Holla. #2012 #Obama.”
Burnt Orange Report first noticed the tweet, and several other websites have published pictures of it. Wright’s Twitter account has since been locked.
The tweet came just a month after the former UT Republicans president Lauren Pierce tweeted, “Y’all as tempting as it may be, don’t shoot Obama. We need him to go down in history as the WORST president we’ve EVER had! #2012,” after a man shot at the White House.
Pierce apologized and was forced to resign. She retweeted Wright’s tweet, The Austin-American Statesman reported.
Huey Fischer, president-elect of the UT College Democrats told KVUE that he “was really surprised by her tweet last night. It was clearly offensive and it definitely had that strain of racism in it,” he said. “She seems like a really smart girl. She’s a really upbeat person. Someone who seems politically correct most of the time.”
In a statement provided to The Daily Texan, UT Austin’s daily newspaper, UT College Republicans spokesman Cesar Villareal disavowed the tweet.
“The UT College Republicans neither condones any ‘tweeted’ remarks, nor any statements made by any member of our organization that may be hurtful and lacking in sensitivity. … While some within our organization may not respect the current President, UT College Republicans does respect the office of the President of the United States. … I personally apologize for [the] ‘tweeted’ remark.”
