Anthony Glen Gorospe, Long Beach Hoarder, In Custody After Standoff (VIDEO)  While I don't condone this man's actions, it seems like non-White code enforcement "officers" have had an agenda lately to fine White residents in mostly non-White areas... I'm saying this from experience. Just a few weeks ago I had a non-White code enforcement "officer" leave a note on my door saying that there were some weeds in my backyard along the NEIGHBOR'S fence (which isn't in plain view from the street, he peeked over my fence) that needed to be cut or else I would be fined.... Meanwhile you have houses on my street with Mexicans flags flying,(no American one accompanying it) weeds, dead grass, trash, oil stained driveways from old Chebbys, couches and other old furniture on their front porch where they usually sit go magically unnoticed for years.... I doubt they ever got fined. While I think if one's hoarding starts to affect other people's health (as it may have in this situation) should be addressed, at what point does it go too far when these "officers" invade your privacy and start telling you how you should live, "or else"!? __________________ We are our own worst enemy. | |
