Nigerian Observer Online Edition:

“Things may not be fine now, but your tomorrow is in the hands of God your creator. Yesterday is gone; forget it, for you can’t do anything about it. Today is here take the opportunity and utilize it to better your life. Tomorrow is coming for God will take care of it, so don’t border about it. No matter the situation, God is capable of fighting for you, if he fought for the children of Israelite he surely will fight for you. All we need as a nation is God’s intervention”.

“So we boiled my son, and did eat him: and l said unto her on the next day, give thy son, that we may eat him: and she hath hid her son” (11 KING 6:29).

In Nigerian today, things are not that worse that we will start eating our babies, children and fellow citizens. We have not experienced it and will not by the grace of God experience it because God loves us as a nation.
The man of God, Rt. Rev. Ogbonwam said during a sermon at the international headquarter of the church in Benin City that by 20:20 Nigeria will be great again, we shall see many great things and positive changes in this nation and Nigeria will be the best country in the world. I believe in Nigeria, what about you? I know nothing is too difficult to do once God is involved.

Continuing the man of God said in 1982-83 our Naira was exchange for 2 Dollars but today the exchange rate of a dollar to naira is N160. We should not be troubled about our present situation for God will turn things around for this nation and take us to an enviable height. We should all know that when there is night there will certainly be day, the day of Nigeria will soon come. Let us all trust God for he is capable at delivering us from our present predicament.

The man of God gave the story of a woman who was tenant on Saturday and became landlord on Sunday. He said, the son of this woman came back from abroad to visit the mother, bought a house for the mother without her knowledge. The son told the mother that they need to change their present place of abode and rent housesomewhere else. He took the mother to the house; the mother liked the new apartment which she thought was going to be a rented apartment but the son shocked her by announcing to her that the house belong to her. The son presented the keys of the new house to the mother who automatically became a landlord.

This story is to encourage the congregation and Nigeria at large to trust in God and keep hope alive, for with God all things are possible.

“It is of the Lord’s Mercies that we are not Consumed, because his Compassion fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy Faithfulness” (Lamentation 3:22 – 23).
