'Coal Rush'

Rural residents in Mingo County have no doubt that illnesses that have invaded their lives and killed their loved ones are directly the result of Massey Energy contaminating their wells.

Residents claim that Massey Energy contaminated well water of well over 700 people after they dumped billions of gallons of toxic coal slurry underground not far from their homes.

'Coal Rush' will debut the 29th of March at 7:30 p.m. at the Landmark Midtown Art Cinema. The documentary took five years to make. The Atlanta Film Festival is an Academy Award International Film Festival that has been held in Atlanta every April since 1976.
