50 arrests in Chattanooga is not a lot

'via Blog this'CHATTANOOGA, TN. (WRCB) -- A city-wide saturation occurred Friday by local law enforcement agencies began at from 8:00 a.m. in the morning and lasted until midnight.  

Officers and agents from the Chattanooga Police Department, Hamilton County Sheriff's Department, ATF, and the US Marshal's Service participated in the saturation.  

The morning shift consisted of warrant service for fugitives and search warrants by the Narcotics Unit.  

The afternoon shift consisted of directed patrols throughout the city.  

Listed below are the results of the saturation.

Misdemeanor Arrests:  41
Warrants Served:  43
Guns Seized:  2
Search Warrants:  2
Warning Citations:  18
Traffic Citations:  69
Field Interviews:  30
Gang Arrests:  12
Gang Contacts:  59
Traffic Stops:  59

(The gang arrests were included in the total of Felony and Misdemeanor arrests.)
