'via Blog this'A Maryland appeals court recently ruled that pit bulls are "inherently dangerous" dogs – in other words, the breed as a whole was characterized in an extremely negative way.
Not only that, but the ruling was seen to have made life much harder for "pitties" (as one person I know refers to them) in shelters and those whose owners rent their homes. Reason: the victims of a pit bull attack can now more easily sue the owner and the landlord without proving negligence. The animal's simply being a pit bull, and known by her/his owner to be so, is sufficient.
