BOYCOTT LIVE NATION
Live Nation just screwed my g/f. She purchased Pearl Jam tickets for an upcoming Pearl Jam concert in Cleveland and received a confirmation number but then never received a confirmation email. When she called Live Nation to confirm the purchase, Live Nation explained that they weren't actually selling the tickets and that she should call Ticketmaster. Then Ticketmaster said they weren't handling sales for this particular Cleveland show? Then she called Live Nation again and was told that their system was down. Smells like a big scam. Live Nation probably received lots of demand when the ticket sale opened and decided they would screw everyone and relist the tickets at higher pricing to brokers, etc. I wouldn't associate myself with this company if I cared about my fans. |

No Horse in the morning | If you think Live Nation Sucks try Ticket Horse. They make you wait/waste 2 minutes of cell time per call and tell you, "you may hear a busy signal, call back later." I must have wasted an hour of cell minutes NOT getting Telluride tickets today!
The online site doesn't have any error messages, instead you type the security code to find out that no tickets are available as soon as they go on sale. Then you spend forever trying over and over again without any clue if any tickets are left.(Live Nation may be worse online.)
When I finally did get through to Ticket Horse and asked for Phish at Telluride, the A-hole working the phone hung up with no explanation that there may or may not be tickets still available forcing me to keep spending cell minutes and wasting time online. |

| Live nation boned me so hard it still hurts. I'll have to go through a scalper for the Berkeley shows, if I go at all, since their site wouldn't let me purchase tickets because it either froze up or blocked me out, so F.U. Live nation. I've never had such a hard time purchasing phish tickets in the 17 years I've been going to shows. Why can't phish just sell tickets through their web site the way they sell festival tix. There's not that many of us that go to the shows. |

How much money do you make? That you can't hire a web designer and get a fallback voice message or operator at least? Worst Business ever. |
Keeping It Real | The problem with Live Nation is that upper management does not know how to manage the company. This is the only company I know that has more VPs than any other position. You will worked like a slave for lower than average salary and will either be fired or put on a RIF list without notice regardless of your performance. |

FU LIve Nation | Fu#k Live Nation I have never been so pissed. I woke up to get tickets to this concert with the presale code which sent me to a page because to many people were trying to get tickets. I assumed by clicking the best available, I would in fact get the best available, NOPE. When I looked back in thirty minutes there were better seats that were on the presale list. Are you fu#king kidding me! So I called but was told they could do nothing for me. Wow I feel like a real valued costumer, thanks live nation. Oh and ps. I will never order from you again!! |

Live Nation is Bullsh.. and TW Walnut Creek too!!!
They invite you to post a review of their venues, but if it has a negative comment they don't like, they won't post it! So what good are the reviews!
I went to Time Warner Cable Walnut Creek Pavilion in Raleigh, NC three times this summer (purchased tix at same time) and each time something lousey happened. First time someone messed up my car. Second time my friends and I had to deal with ubber Nazi staff. They were rude, full of themselves and a major downer. They are like the elementary school hall monitor and I don't mean just checking tickets which is there job. The third time the people were so bad that their were fights everywhere. I think the staff actually fueled some of them. Another problem is that they charge $6 for a soda and $9 for a beer!!!! Worst yet, people actually buy it! I guess as long as people put up with it, they'll get away with it! You don't even pay this much at a high priced bar or movie theater! People, just say NO!!!!
Overall, just expect a bad experience at Time Warner Walnut Creek Raleigh, NC and you'll do fine! |
