I live in Lakefront Mobile Home Park. Owned and ignored by Brad Utle of ISG Insurance in Clinton and owner of Lord knows how many horrible places to live. On Friday night I was robbed. All evidence points to one person living across from me. Of course he's done it before and there is little the cops can do. He has been living with a woman paying through a HUD voucher but he isn't on the HUD lease as far as I know. Should have never been here to start with much less allowed to take my stuff. Brad Utley assured me on Saturday that he would move these people. Not evict them as he should for having a felon fresh out of prision living with them. He wants to keep on collecting the HUD money so they are moving on to violate HUD rules somewhere in Lake City. Watch out if you are in Lake City and live in a Brad Utley owned place. These people are not nice. This person who I believe robbed me was seen by me that night giving a ride to another person who is well known to the police. He has had many complaints against him with Brad Utley for stealing. Prowling around and breaking into houses yet Brad did nothing. Nothing at all. He is also staying in a HUD residence when he violates their rules. Officers of the Clinton City Police told me to my face that it was Brad Utleys fault Lakefront MHP is like it is. One said and I quote, "This place is a den of thieves and no place to live." I tried to get assistance from Mr. Brad Utley but all I got was cussed and told to get the hell out. Across the road right now .... The woman who is on the lease is not there. Her kids left in the pathetic care of the fiance who I believed robbed me. The kids being the only thing in the trailer that doesn't violate a rule of HUD. I still wonder if my property is still in there to. I doubt it. In a Brad Utley rental its only the theives and those who defroud the government that matters. Greed wins. Rules don't matter and the victim of a robbery is told to get the hell out. Brad Utley. Worthless.

Sorry to hear, almost rented something from him, he took us down there to look at it, went back to his office to sign papers and OH LOOK AT THAT he forgot he already rented it out that very morning! He's on drugs or something! Who would forget they rented a duplex out just hours earlier?

I have heard stories about him. I won't repeat them cause I don't know for sure they are true. But I will say if he was snorting an oxy or whatever pill heads do and it kept you from moving here then he did you a favor. If you had moved here by now you would have stuff gone from your yard or maybe even your house broken into like me and a few others in here. And when you call the police and mention a certain name he is an always suspect. Living down there on the HUD dime free of charge and free to rob and steal. Yhere is a man in here who hid under a porch waiting to stab, yes stab another tenant. Brad Utley came down here red faced and people here thought he would actually do something. He gave the guy one more chance. I guess the next time he tries to stab someone he will be gone. Of course someone might be dead from a stabbing by then. DO NOT RENT from Brad Utley if you value your safety or property. Don't move into this den of thieves.

I believe what your saying as I have seen second chances given to trouble makers who are still nothing but trouble and still living in the property. What is not fair, is for those abiding by HUD rules or those who own their home and yet they have to worry about being stole from by these morons who are most of the time not even on the lease!!! It is kind of hard to give anyone a heads up on the trouble makers you speak of without a name, but you could give initials...lol. I do hope their out of your face soon but dread it for the unsuspecting new neighbors where ever that may be.

Second third and fourth chances. This has been going on for years. People here are afriad to leave their houses to go to the doctor for fear of being robbed. Mr Utley has done nothing but collect the HUD check and put off every complaint he has received. And when someone is robbed and want assistance all you hear from him iis give me time. How much time does it take to drive from the ISG building to Lakefront MHP and tell those violating the rules of HUD to leave? I can walk from there to here in 15 minutes so really how much time does he need. He would rather cuss me for complaining as to throw out the HUD violators I'm complaining abiut. This is far beyond a second chanc giving to someome that made a mistake. This is years of living under the threat of crime while the landlord does nothing.

Bad Landlords in Federal Housing Complaints
Hundreds of landlords have been fined and/or debarred from doing business with the federal government as a result of failing to provide safe and decent housing for the poor, while enriching themselves on taxpayer-funded subsidies.

Tenants have been forced to live in terrible housing, and neighborhoods have suffered from housing eyesores. HUD calls this a double crime--one against tenants as well as taxpayers.

To report a bad landlord to the Multifamily Housing Complaint Line call toll-free1-800-685-8470 / TTY 1-800-432-2209.

Multifamily Housing Complaint Line
The Multifamily Housing Complaint Line is a service provided by HUD's Multifamily Housing Clearinghouse (MFHC) that enables residents of HUD-insured and -assisted properties and other community members to report complaints with a property's management concerning matters such as poor maintenance, dangers to health and safety, mismanagement, and fraud. It can be accessed by dialing 1-800-MULTI-70 (1-800-685-8470).

Callers to this line can speak to MFHC information specialists, in both English and Spanish, who will help them resolve their problem. MFHC staff explain how to more effectively report problems to building management, answer questions about residents' rights, and refer callers to local Public Housing Agencies and other organizations, if needed. If a complaint is serious enough to bring to HUD's attention, MFHC information specialists write up a report on the problem and fax or email it to the appropriate HUD Field Office for action.

The Multifamily Housing Complaint Line supports HUD's enforcement efforts by empowering tenants and community residents to act as HUD's eyes and ears to ensure safe, decent and sanitary housing.

Well I got some action finally. The filth I know robbed me is gone. At least from here. Found out he tried to sell a tv Saturday. I was robbed of one on Friday afternoon. I have even less than no doubt he is the one who did it. The people who let him live with them are also gone. Off to where I do not know. Even with that satisfaction I am still unhappy. I don't feel real inclined to let folks off rhe hook right now. I got some action but it could have happened Saturday when I first called Utley about this. My tv was probably still at their house then. It could have happened without 1000 phone calls to here and there and everywhere. It could have happened without me being cussed by the person I hold responsible for the safety of this park.
