Mayor Has Hissy Fit In Indiana, Commits Multiple Acts Of Childishness

Mayor makes his own parking space after ticket:

(Vandalism, destruction of public property...It would be cool to see the mayor have to clean it up. Who painted it? A man too lazy to walk from a legal parking space is too lazy to paint his own. The artist aided and abetted.

He should be instantly thrown out of office. Citizens of this country are not going to behave if we have a "do as I say, not as I do" example. The authority figures are creating the problems we pay them to cure. They seem to have job security, but they should not and that town should be embarrassed if he's kept after such a blatant act of disrespect. )

One Indiana mayor has taken the phrase "You can't fight city hall" to a new level—a gigantic, painted level that has a personalized parking sign. Last Friday, Logansport police officers noticed mayor Ted Franklin's yellow Corvette was illegally parked outside and contacted his office. Four hours later, it was still there, so the officers issued him a ticket. On Monday, Franklin paid the $20 fine, and then ensured he wouldn't get another one by combining three spaces into a yellow-painted Mega-Spot, decorated with a matching "Mayor Parking Only" sign. Why the sign? Probably because, until that morning, those spots had been reserved for police officers … Well, at least he didn’t overreact. [Source]
