An assistant federal prosecutor's car was burglarized early this morning.
She arrived at work in her black Pontiac Solstice at 4:45 a.m. She came in early to prepare for closing arguments in a mortgage fraud trial.
She parked next to the drive-through island at the Wells Fargo at Garden and Jefferson streets. The United States Attorney's Office is located in the building.
Two people smashed her car's passenger side window and took her gym bag.
The Pensacola Police Department is investigating.
