Estonian charged with human trafficking | News.com.au:

'via Blog this' ...has been charged with human trafficking after allegedly operating a labour hire company that lured Europeans to Australia where they were kept in financial bondage.
The man, 26, along with three other Estonian men, arranged their victims' bank accounts, which they ultimately took control of, police say.
They allegedly took the victims' passports and demanded money from them.
They told the victims they would be found work and given a small allowance to live on, and kept the remainder of the funds.
The charged men had advertised on the internet, offering to assist with visas, accommodation, air fares and the like, and mainly brought in other Estonians on student visas.
The 26-year-old faces two counts of human trafficking, and two counts of causing a person to enter into debt bondage.
These come on top of extortion charges laid against the man in November.
The other Estonians, a 22-year-old man and two 24-year-olds, were charged with a range of offences in September including extortion, stalking, attempted fraud and using identification material with intent to commit an offence.
